Electrical Superstars Shine at Electrical Contractors Association Awards Night
Just two weeks ago, Power Integration starred at the
Annual Master Electricians Awards, hosted at the Sebel Citigate in Brisbane.
The event is a celebration of national excellence displayed by Master
Electrician affiliated organisations across Australia. In its first year with
Master Electricians, Power Integration was nominated for two major awards.
The first nomination was for National Domestic Project of
the Year. The submission entered was a project in Hawthorne valued at $260 000
which contained full C-Bus automation and the integration of Switch Automation technology
into the system which cascaded over six levels down to the edge of the Brisbane
River.
The second nomination was for Master Electricians of the
Year. For this prestigious award, nominees were asked to submit details surrounding company commitment to quality, organisational strategic direction and safety.
Power Integration cleaned up, winning both Domestic Project
of the Year and Master Electricians of the Year, stealing the limelight for
the night and the headlines in the following days. Master Electricians Australia
CEO Malcolm Richards stated that “Power Integration epitomises what Master
Electricians is all about, quality, professionalism and safety. Read more about
the night in the press release “A
new breed of contractor is named Master Electrician of the Year”.

15 Australians will not make it home for Christmas this year. These deaths could all have been prevented.
On Sunday the 30th of October Master Electricians launched a statewide campaign “targeted at home
owners who undertake their own unlicensed electrical work and aims to make
them stop and think about the consequences of their actions.”
It will be supported by extensive advertising that will
flood Television, Radio, Google Adwords on DIY and renovation sites as well as
major social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.
Master Electricians say “the campaign is based on home
owners booking in for a home safety check to identify missing safety switches
and examine the condition of electrical wiring, power points and light
switches”. 15 Australians are killed and over 300 are hospitalised every year
caused by electrical accidents that could be prevented.
Accredited Master Electricians are being directed to
charge a flat rate of $150 for each electrical assessment, which excludes any
rectification works required. Make a booking with Power Integration today and
protect your family this festive season and into the future. The safety of your family is on the line. Contact us on 1300 PWR INT or info@powerintegration.com.au

The Entoure Cycle
Classic, Brisbane to Salt, is held over 3 days in early October with this
year’s event drawing over 70 riders. 3rd year participant, director Glen Powell,
was among riders from various businesses across South East Queensland. Entoure
hosts professional cycle events, providing an opportunity for cyclists to
fundraise for the Clown Doctors who have an emphasis on helping put a smile on kids
faces in hospitals across Australia. This year’s event raised almost $150,000!
Glen has inspired his team at Power Integration and hopes to have a dedicated PI team in next year’s event. Stay
tuned…
